Pianist and professor of piano, a musician open-minded and versatile, noticed for her depth, reflection and a sense of music, Victoria Shereshevskaya was born in Moscow (Russia) and started piano at the age of six with her mother Rena Shereshevskaya at first in Moscow and then in France, in the Colmar Conservatory. In 2005 she graduates from the Lyon National Superior Music Conservatory (class of Géry Moutier).
The young pianist gives recitals in Europe, USA, Russia, is invited by different festivals such as Festival Radio France à Montpellier, Festival International de Colmar, Festival « Nancyphonies » (France), Festival de St.Ursanne et Porrentruy (Swiss), “Rencontres Musicales d’Enghien” (Belgium). In 2010, by invitation of the Karuizawa Festival, she made a tour of concerts in Japan warmly greeted by the critique. She also plays the chamber music with such musicians as Alexandra Soumm, Henri Demarquette, Christophor Miroshnikov, Marco Rizzi, François Guye and with orchestras conducted by Yu. Bashment (with the participation of a celebrated actress Marie-Anne Chazel), V.Boulakhov, C. Poiget. Since the age of eight Victoria becomes a laureate of a number of International Piano Competitions; She also received advices of such prestigious masters as François-René Duchable, Brigitte Engerer, Lev Naoumov, Vladimir Krainev, Vladimir Viardo, Vera Gornostaeva.
Being a holder of the French Superior Teaching Diploma (CA), she is a professor of piano at the Paris Superior Music School of A.Cortot (“Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris/A.Cortot”) as well as at the Puteaux Conservatoire. Since 2011 she is invited to give master classes in the framework of the Summer Music Academy “Académie des Cimes du Val d’Isère”.
She is also solicited in the cinema as a music consultant, a music coach of actors and a “double of hands”; she worked with actresses Judith Davis, Edith Scob, Sophie Laloy, Chantal Lauby and with a producer Louis Becker. In 2013 she was a coach of Anne-Sophie Lapix in the film of Jean Becker “Bon rétablessemnt!” with G.Lanvin (2014) where she also recorded a part of a sound-track.
In parallel with her activity as a pianist and a piano teacher, Victoria has a passion for opera singing from her early childhood. At present she continues her singing studies in the “Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris/A.Cortot” with a famous Russian baritone Vladimir Chernov and his wife professor Olga Toporkova - Chernova. She has already performed as a singer in solo or with orchestra in France, Switzerland, Belgium.
Being very interested by all that concerns the corps movements she follows a training course in the relationship between gesture, sound and space with a Belgium physiotherapist, a screenwriter and a stage director Anne Englebert. She follows also Yoga and Qi Gong with Davina Delor.
