Sara Chauveau is a pianist with classical training. Laureate of the first piano prizes of the City of Paris and the Conservatory of Versailles, she studied with Édouard Exerjean and François Chaplin who passed on their passion for French music, chamber music.
Holder of a Deug in musicology at the Sorbonne University, she refined her knowledge of acoustics, art history, sociology of music, and ethnomusicology. She will be part of the Choir of the Sorbonne (alto pulpit) under the direction of Denis Rouger.
A passionate musician of pedagogy, Sara Chauveau teaches at CRD de Bobigny and CRC de Rosny-sous-Bois.
She is also interested in early music and has created a workshop for pianists around the harpsichord with regard to the piano and received valuable musicological and organological advice from trainers and specialists.
An eclectic artist, his itinerary is punctuated by decisive encounters that have enriched his artistic choices. Her openness to the aesthetics of the various artistic fields brings her to feel particularly close to the world of dance, theater, literature and the fine arts. She has appeared alongside Virginie Gros (pianist) and François Pick (actor), Jean-Christophe Dijoux (pianist) and Cécile Baillia (percussionist), Noëlle Simonet and Jean-Marc Piquemal (choreographers and dancers).
His passion for teaching and transmitting music has been nurtured by partnerships and pedagogical actions: the accompaniment of students in the vocational guidance and amateur practice cycle, as well as several supervision and coordination missions.
