CRR de Versailles

Originally from Lyon, Michael Guido is a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris (piano, vocal accompaniment and chamber music), where he studied with Jean-François Heisser and Marie-Josèphe Jude; Then he has long devoted himself to the repertoire of Lied and Melody, perfecting himself in Germany and at the Abbey of Royaumont.

The remarkable encounter with the pianist Ruben Lifschitz is at the origin of beautiful musical collaborations, rich experience of the stage, notably in recital with singers, and success in international competitions: duo prize of the competition Nadia and Lili Boulanger 2007 with baritone Edwin Crossley-Mercer, duet prize of the Melodie Française de Toulouse 2009 contest with soprano Shigeko Hata, support of soprano Chiara Skerath, winner of the Queen Elisabeth 2014 competition. Michaël Guido has performed on stage Such as the Auditorium du Louvre, the Athénée-Théâtre Louis Jouvet, the Opéra-Comique, the Amphitheater of the Cité de la Musique, the Hôtel des Invalides, the Senate and Maison de Radio France. Festivals such as Saint-Riquier, Royaumont, Flâneries de Reims ...; Germany at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, and on a historical piano at the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg; In Italy for the Naples Summer Nights Festival, or in the United States in a tour of recitals of French music for piano four hands with the pianist Martin Surot.

In 2014-15 he was the pianist for baritone Stéphane Degout at la Chaise-Dieu, Royaumont, La Monnaie de Bruxelles theaters, the Opéra Bastille and the Opéra de Lyon .

Holder of the certificate of aptitude, Michaël Guido is a professor at the Conservatoire de Versailles, where he has been teaching the piano since 2008.
